Spring 2017 was the first collection of Maria Grazia Chiuri as the artistic director of Christian Dior. Chiuri successfully softened the corseted stricture of the Dior New Look by using supple fan pleating to create peplums, volumes in sleeves, and swirls in skirts.
This little black dress is made of thick cotton that is cut in quilted corset to hug your figure before flaring to a mini voluminous skirt. It is decorated with heart shaped tiny beads and embroidery in contrasting bright red.
